2nd Grade- 3D Barn Scenes
Second graders created 2-D and 3-D barn scenes by using model magic for animals and crayons and markers for the background.
1st Grade- Headbands
Kindergarten Native American Pouches
Adaptive Art-Mother's Day
These made great Mother's Day gifts. The background is made by spraying washable markers with water. And the glitter made the picture come to life.
5th grade- Patriotic Art
Students looked at artwork by Jasper Johns and created their own patriotic art. We used oil pastels on black paper. Students were instructed to include an eagle, but the background had to be something that they believe represents America.
3rd grade- Found Object Art
What better way to use old CDs than by creating found object art. Students had to create a painting while incorporating a CD. Can you spot the CDs in each picture?

1st graders created tints and shades using paint. This project then dueled as a great Mother's Day Gift
2nd Grade Cityscapes
2nd graders created relief sculpture cityscapes.
We glued May board, poster board, and colorful scrap paper to create the buildings. We then painted our cityscapes the following class period.
