1st graders created life size portraits using extra large paper that was donated to my classroom. Students started by working with partners to trace their bodies and then they went back in and added details.

3rd grade- Big Picasso Portraits

I had a lot of extra large paper, so what better way to use it than make large Picasso portraits. 3rd graders learned about Picasso and how he would show two views of a face (front and profile) when creating abstract portraits.
