4th graders learned about Hex Symbols and created Radial Designs. We decided our circle into 6 equal sections and drew he same design in each piece. Students traced heir lines with sharpie and colored them in using markers.

5th Grade Radial Designs
5th graders learned about radial designs. Thy folded a square paper into 4s. Drew a design in one section and traced it at the window 3 times so the design repeated a total of 4 times. They then colored their design

4th Grade Color Wheel Snowflakes
4th grade created snowflakes with an emphasis of the color wheel in the background. On day one we painted the color wheel by mixing colors and on day 2 we discussed radial designs and created a snowflake to glue on top of our color wheel.

4th Grade- Radial Designs
These radial designs were inspired by Hex Symbols.
Students create a "pie piece" and traced it 6 times in a circle or radial shape to create their hex symbol. Then then colored each piece to create a symmetrical design.
