Kindergarten - Trees

Kindergarteners learned about creating trees by using "y" and "v". We drew the trees in crayons. Added shapes to the border. The. Last, we water colored areas. 


1st Grade- Overlapping

1st grade learned about overlapping by creating snakes that are overlapping a tree. We incorporated texture into this project for the tree trunk. 



Kindergarten- Elmer the Elephant

Kindergarteners practiced cutting, gluing, and painting by creating Elmer the Elephant.


4th Grade- Abstract Guitars

4th graders learned about abstract art by creating abstract guitars. We drew the guitars with pencil and sharpie. We then colored them using oil pastels and focused on analogous colors. 



2nd Grade- Forms

2nd graders learned about forms by creating hot air balloons. These drawings included spheres, cubes, and cylinders.

3rd Grade- Birds Eye View Cityscape

3rd graders learned about birds eye view. We read the book: The Man Who Walked Between The Two Towers. It is a great book and has great birds eye view illustrations.  We then practiced drawing birds eye views together on a piece of computer paper. 
Next class students received a large paper and drew their final draft using pencil first and then sharpie.
3rd class we colored our details with crayons and colored pencil.
Final class- we water colored the grass, sky, and water.
